This weekend, we delivered a set of two nightstands to a clients home. The nightstands were built using red oak and stained a custom color. The couple wanted a minimalist design with a finish that wasn’t too dark or too light and not too golden. They also opted for push to open, under mount drawers. We love how these custom nightstands turned out!

Our new candle line has just hit the shelves here at the store! All of our soy wax candles are made in house, hand poured using high quality soy wax and natural fragrance. The scents we currently have available are: Mountain Pine Redwoods & Moss Honeysuckle Orange Creamsicle Eucalyptus & Mint We are open 10am to 6pm Thursday - Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday. We are very excited to announce that we are having a furniture and home decor pop-up event this summer in Greenville, NC at @pittstreetbrewing ! On July 29th, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, head on over to Pitt Street, grab a beer or glass of wine and hang out with us! We will be set up in the back area with a variety of items, including coasters, wine caddies, cookbook holders, along with a few larger furniture items.

This week we rebuilt part of a staircase—this video is a snapshot of the project from beginning to end ☀️ It was hard work, and at times we definitely questioned why we said yes to doing the project. However, at the end, we felt so fulfilled and accomplished! Back to the shop next week to build a farm table and a few other things to take to @curiosity_nc in a few weeks for our space expansion!

We are swooning over this english chestnut balustrade coffee table we recently designed in the shop. We have had a rectangle wooden coffee table in our living room for a few years. We’re on to the painting and finishing steps for this vintage inspired 7-drawer dresser. P.S. — using a paint sprayer makes painting a breeze. Highly recommend for when you’re painting larger items. Final step for this dresser will be installing the drawer handles.
